June is Pride Month, and there is no better time to shine a light on the importance of equality both in and outside of the workplace.
Love Has No Labels
We are continuously striving to create the most inclusive business model possible—from our own workplace to supply chains across the globe. But there is a discrepancy in our collective perception of equality: most Americans do agree that people should be treated fairly, but many people in the U.S. still report feeling discriminated against.
We collaborated with the Ad Council to help end implicit biases and spread the word that “Love Has No Labels.”
Many of the core messages delivered in “Love Has No Labels” resonated deeply with us at Unilever, but one in particular stood out: to educate the generations that follow.
Equality in the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan
Creating a better world—environmentally, economically and socially—for future generations is a cornerstone belief for everyone at Unilever. Our Sustainable Living Plan outlines the plans and goals we have for equality and fairness, but the generation to follow must be educated on the issue.
We believe in their ability to create real change, and it is our responsibility at Unilever to help turn their ambitious dreams and ideas into reality. Together, we can end inequality and make discrimination a thing of the past.
